Software For landlords, not utilities
MeterEase reads your master water, sewer, trash, gas or electric bill, splits it among your units with a RUBS formula, and emails every tenant their share with the source bill attached. Flat pricing from $14/month.
What the software does
Upload the utility, CAM or insurance bill. MeterEase reads the vendor, period and total for you to confirm. Scans without text can be typed in.
Split by percent, square footage, bedrooms or occupants. Growth and Portfolio add hybrid blends and mid-month proration.
Keep a vacant unit in the split so the owner covers its share, or leave it out. Vacant units are never emailed.
Each tenant gets their own share, how it was calculated, and the master bill or a redacted copy you mark.
Nothing sends until you confirm the amounts. You stay the landlord of record and approve every bill.
Download a CSV with paste notes for your rent app, a QuickBooks CSV, or push charges to DoorLoop on Growth and Portfolio.
